Kick-ass pic! I'm hoping you read the comments left here, I thought about writing this on FB, but I doubt you read those. Here's the deal: I have a favor to ask of you. My niece, Olivia Ambroson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 22, 2011, at just 19-months-old at the time. Her journey since has not been an easy one, to say the least-- filled with rounds of chemo treatments (and more to come); a roller coaster ride of emotions for those who love her most; and now, the news that she will be needing a bone marrow transplant. It has been an overwhelming and terrifying ordeal for Olivia's parents, and it is my deepest hope that a cure can be found so that other families never have to know this pain and fear. And so, I will be joining Team Olivia Marie Ambroson as we Light the Night and walk for a cure... for hope... and to support and honor those who are bravely battling cancer. What I was hoping you could do for Olivia is place a jar on stage for donations at your next show and mention her battle with cancer. Please let me know if this is something you could do for us. Magpie, that's funny. Wish I had thought of that line. Hey, maybe the sitter could come to your house, but I could bring my kids over and we could go to the show together. Just a thought. I'd wear a sombrero.
